Welcome to my privacy policy. The protection of your personal data is very important to me, and I want you to feel safe when visiting my website fels-coach.de.
That is why I am explaining here in a transparent manner what data I collect and what I use it for. It is important to me that you not only understand the legal provisions, but also why I need certain information in order to offer the best possible service. This should not sound like legal jargon, but rather like a clear guide to my data processing.

2. General information on data processing
I treat your data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data is any information that relates to you as a person, such as your name, address, or email address.
My website uses SSL or TLS encryption, which can be recognized by the “https://” in the address bar. This protects the data you send to me.
3. Data processing on my website
Server log files
When you visit my website, my system automatically collects technical information transmitted by your browser. These are known as server log files, which are required to ensure the functionality and security of the website. This data is stored on the servers of my hosting provider. It includes:
- Your IP address
- Date and time of access
- Name and URL of the file accessed
- Information about your browser and operating system
This automatically collected data is used to optimize my website and protect it from attacks. It is deleted after seven days at the latest. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (my legitimate interest in technically secure operation).
Cookies
I use cookies to make my website easier and more enjoyable to use. Cookies are small text files that are stored in your browser.
- Necessary cookies are important for the basic functions of the website. Without them, the site would not be able to function properly.
- I only use other cookies, for example for website analysis, if you agree to this via my cookie consent management tool, in order to find out how often my site is visited and whether I should make improvements.
You can set your browser to reject cookies or to notify you each time cookies are set. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR for necessary cookies and Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR for all other cookies.
Form for e-book download
If you would like to download my free e-book, I will process the email address you enter in the form.
- Processed data: Email address.
- Purpose: To send the requested e-book. The email address will be used exclusively for this one-time mailing and will not be stored for further advertising purposes.
- Legal basis: Your consent by filling out the form and clicking the download button (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).
You can revoke your consent at any time by sending me an informal email to info@fels-coach.de. Your data will be deleted immediately after the e-book has been sent, provided that there are no legal retention obligations or you have not simultaneously agreed to receive further communications.
4. Externe Dienste und Tools
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Ich nutze Google Analytics 4, um zu verstehen, wie meine Webseite genutzt wird. So kann ich mein Angebot stetig verbessern. GA4 verwendet Cookies, um Daten zu sammeln, die dann an Google übertragen werden. Dabei wird Ihre IP-Adresse anonymisiert, bevor sie gespeichert wird.
Die Datenübertragung in die USA erfolgt auf der Basis des EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Ich nutze Google Analytics nur mit deiner ausdrücklichen Einwilligung über die Cookieauswahl, die Sie jederzeit widerrufen können. Die Daten werden nach 14 Monaten automatisch gelöscht.

E-Mail-Versand (Postmark)
Für den Versand des E-Books nach erfolgreicher Anmeldung sowie für sonstige transaktionale E-Mails (z.B. Terminbestätigungen) nutze ich den externen Dienstleister Postmark (Acorn Technologies, Inc., USA).
- Verarbeitete Daten: E-Mail-Adresse des Empfängers, Zeitpunkt des Versands, Inhalt der E-Mail (Logdaten).
- Zweck: Sicherstellung der technischen Zustellung der E-Mail, Messung der Zustellbarkeit und Fehlerdiagnose.
- Rechtsgrundlage: Die Verarbeitung dient der Erfüllung unserer vertraglichen Pflichten (E-Book-Versand, Terminbestätigung, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO) bzw. meinem berechtigten Interesse an einem technisch zuverlässigen E-Mail-Versand (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO).
Postmark speichert die zur Übermittlung notwendigen Log-Daten (einschließlich Ihrer E-Mail-Adresse) in der Regel für 45 Tage. Die Übertragung in die USA basiert auf dem EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Ich habe mit Postmark einen Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag (AVV) abgeschlossen.

Terminbuchungstool (Acuity Scheduling)
Zur Online-Terminbuchung nutze ich den externen Dienst Acuity Scheduling (Squarespace Ireland Ltd., Irland). Wenn du einen Termin buchst, verarbeitet Acuity in meinem Auftrag deine Daten, um die Terminvereinbarung, -bestätigung und -verwaltung zu ermöglichen.
Verarbeitete Daten: Name, Kontaktdaten (E-Mail, optional Telefonnummer), gebuchte Dienstleistung, Zeitpunkt der Buchung.
Die Verarbeitung erfolgt zur Durchführung vorvertraglicher Maßnahmen und zur Erfüllung des Vertrages (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO). Ich habe mit Acuity einen Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag (AVV) abgeschlossen. Die Übertragung in die USA erfolgt im Rahmen des EU-US Data Privacy Frameworks.

Storage of appointments (Google Calendar)
I use Google Calendar to organize and manage the coaching appointments you have booked. When you make an appointment using the booking tool or directly with me, the necessary data (date, time, name, email address if applicable, and type of appointment) is recorded in my Google Calendar.
This processing is necessary for the organization and performance of our contractual services (appointment confirmation, reminder, and management). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
The transfer of data to Google (USA) is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of data protection. I have concluded a corresponding data processing agreement (DPA) with Google.

Font Awesome
My website uses icons from the service provider Font Awesome to enhance its appearance. Your IP address is transmitted to the provider in the USA for this purpose. This is done in my legitimate interest in having a visually appealing website. The transfer is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Invoicing and payment processing (Lexoffice and Stripe)
I use the following service providers to process your payment and invoicing:
- Lexoffice (Lexware GmbH & Co. KG, Germany): Used to create and manage your invoices and for digital accounting.
- Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland): This is my payment service provider, which handles payment processing (e.g., for card payments) on my behalf. Your payment details are transmitted directly to Stripe and processed there.
The processing of your invoice and payment data (name, address, contact details, payment details) is essential for the execution and billing of the contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and for the fulfillment of my legal obligations for proper accounting (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR).
I have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Stripe.

Internal customer data management (Google Sheets)
In order to manage my services efficiently and ensure correct billing, I store certain customer data in a Google Sheet (spreadsheet). This is data that is generated in the course of invoicing and appointment booking or that is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract. This includes:
- Your billing information (name, address, email, invoice numbers).
- Information about package bookings (e.g., how many sessions have already been used and how many are still open).
- Data relating to booked appointments (date, time, type of service).
This data is stored in Google Sheets for internal organization, contract processing, and documentation of my business processes. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment) and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (my legitimate interest in efficient and traceable administration). Google LLC is a US company certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures data protection-compliant transfer.
